Effective date: October 25, 2026
Scope
This static package publishes educational pages about search privacy. It contains no user accounts, search input, contact form, newsletter form, comments, advertising system, or third-party analytics. It does not intentionally set cookies or use browser storage for tracking. The menu script only changes page elements in memory and does not save a user identifier.
Web-server and hosting data
A web host, content-delivery network, security provider, or server may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested path, response status, browser user agent, and referrer. Those systems are not configured by the static HTML package itself. The person deploying the site should select providers, retention, security controls, and disclosures appropriate to the actual hosting environment.
Email contact
The site displays [email protected] as a mailto link. Selecting it opens the visitor’s email application. Email messages can contain the sender’s address, message content, metadata, and attachments. The recipient should use messages only to respond, maintain editorial records, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Do not send highly sensitive information by ordinary email.
External source links
Long-form articles contain a limited editorial link to an external authoritative source. Opening an external link sends a request to that website, which applies its own privacy and security practices. External destinations are not controlled by PrivacySearches.com.
Local files and downloads
Images, stylesheets, and scripts in this package are served from the same site. RSS readers, browsers, and operating systems may store local copies according to their own settings. The site does not attempt to inspect those local caches.
Children
The publication is general educational content and does not knowingly collect personal information through forms or accounts. The static package is not designed as an interactive service directed to children.
Security
The package uses no backend application. Deployment should enforce HTTPS, maintain hosting accounts, protect domain and DNS access, keep infrastructure current, and monitor unauthorized changes. No method of hosting is risk-free.
Changes
If the site later adds analytics, advertising, forms, accounts, embedded media, or other data-processing features, this policy should be updated before or when those features are deployed. The effective date should reflect a substantive change.
